Members of the Swellendam Heritage Association paid a trip to Prince Albert 6/8 October. The timing was a little difficult as it was after the rains and flooding in the Western Cape. The roads were not too difficult and we were able to take a picturesque journey, particularly stopping at Meiringspoort to take the path up to the waterfall. The tour in PA was taken by Dr Judy Maguire, a long time resident and heritage consultant. The members enjoyed the watercourse (leiwater) around which Prince Albert grew
