It is with sadness that SHA acknowledge the passing of JohnPaisley
John was an esteemed member of our organisation and we convey our condolences to his family .
John will be remembered as an "inkommer" (a newarrival) in Swellendam who tried to make a positive impact on his adopted town. He was, until ill health forced him toresign, a member of the SHA management committee, and was an active participantwith many ideas. We are all very sad about his passing.
His son writes ,Although we are sad that he is no longerwith us, we are happy that he is no longer in pain. His passing was verypeaceful, while returning from his favourite place, the Cederberg, with hisbrother who had come from Canada to visit. John's timing in many ways wasperfect.
